My Timeline

2023 - present

ML Researcher / AI Developer / Sole Founder - Generatebg

Generatebg offers Artificial Intelligence based image editing services. Users can generate new backgrounds for their images, remove backgrounds, and generate infinitely scalable vector graphics from bitmap images.

2021 - present

Scientific Writer & Developer / Sole Founder - Street Science

I created Street Science to transform complex scientific ideas into easy-to-understand and enjoyable content for everyone. As the blog grows, I am custom building new digital products and services as part of the website's offering.

2018 - 2021

Calculation Engineer - Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR)

I specialised in start-to-end carbon-fibre monocoque development. This involved topology optimisation -> CAD surfacing -> freesize opt. -> size opt. -> (manual) shuffle -> poduction support. Apart from this, I did strength, stiffness, and durability analyses for structural parts such as suspension carrier, uprights, steering racks, ballast box, wishbones, torque tool, HPC accumulator, etc.

2020 - 2021

Trackside Team Manager - TMG United

TMG United is a sister team of TGR. As the trackside team manager, I was involved in race entry, scrutiny, garage setup, car setup, race strategy, and tyre/supplier choice coordination. We were VLN championship winners in the SP3 class at the Nurbürgring Nordschleife race track.

2017 - 2018

Intern / Master Thesis Student - Porsche AG

I developed several Continuum Damage Mechanics Models for FEM based crash applications. The software stack I used for this included LS-DYNA, ANSA, and Animator.

2010 - 2017

Various Positions - Various Organisations

Between 2010 and 2017, I gained valuable experience in complex projects involving employers such as RWTH (I also graduated from here), FMC Technologies, and JPMorgan Chase. I do not wish to flood my about page with all this information. If you are interested in the details, just send me a message using this contact form, and I will set you up with the password to download my full CV.

Beneath The Surface

When I'm not scribbling in my notebook trying to solve complex problems, I love to unwind with video games, especially immersive racing and open-world games. As an avid learner, I find mathematics both fascinating and satisfying, often delving into new concepts for fun. To stay active and healthy, I enjoy running and callisthenics. I might not be setting any new records anytime soon, but I try and train regularly.
